1. Keep a journal and develop the habit to write down at least 1 thing you are grateful for everyday.
2. Tell others how grateful you are. It's easy to focus on the things that go wrong sometimes. Make it a practice to share what you are grateful for.
3. Create a gratitude jar.
Gather an empty jar, strips of paper, and a pen.
Put these items out in a visible area of your home.
Each day, write one thing you're grateful for on a slip of paper and place it in the jar. Encourage anyone else in your household to do the same.
During your downtime or a family meal, pick a few pieces of paper from the jar and read them.
4. Practice gratitude meditation (whatever that looks like for you). Try to focus on things you are grateful for before you start praying over your concerns.
What is one thing you are grateful for today?
